At the recent county super 15s B event held in pettycur bay in fife. Paisley sent a strong team hoping to go 1 better than losing the final the year before. In the 1st game against kilsyth paisley wernt at the races and lost relativly easily to a kilsyth team that we would meet later in the 1/4 final. 2nd group game the bhoys fired up after good team talk and blew away a relativly weak midlothian team 13-2. The hot n cold performances carried through the next 2 group games losing to badly falkirk followed by a comfortable win against uddingston. Better performes in next 3 group games resulted in wins against edinburgh, ayr n district and east fife respectivly.
At the end of group sections paisley toppedthier group avoiding a play-off match and straight into the 1/4 final.
Paisley were drawn in 1/4 final against a kilsyth team they had already lost to in opening match of the group stages. Flying out the blocks and into an early lead helpedto relax the nerves and ran out 9-6 winners. Awaiting in the semi-final were a strong aberdeen outfit who were many people tip to win the conpetition. Again paisley came flying out the blocks into a 3-0 lead and looking good for a second consecutive final. Aberdeen then pegged paisley back to 6-6 to set up a nervy finish to the match. Unfortunaley aberdeen got their chances 1st and took them well running out 8-6 winners and then going on to win the competition in the final.
Unlucky paisley good performace again and again showing our area is a force to be reckoned with.

Paisley were place in a very tough group at the recent 15's event on the weekend of 9, 10 & 11th of Nov 2012. We managed to stumble through the group without firing on all cylinders. However, when it came to the knockout stage we started to show just how good we were. A great performance against Kilsyth was followed by a fantastic win against Avondale (who had a wonderfully talented team which included the Scottish Singles Champion and runner up).
The momentum was gathering and we drawn vs Dumfernline in the quarter final (another of the favourites whom we beat 8-1 last year in the last 16!). Dumfernline had somehow managed to enforce their gameplan on us and restricted us to only a 8-2 victory! :D
We were paired against Clackmannanshirenin the semi, we were looking comfortable at 6-2 up but somehow we lost our way a wee bit and let the match slip from our graps to lose 8-6 :(
Another fantastic performance from the A team. We continue to make a name for ourselves and show our strength and bottle in the big matches against the big players.....soon enough we will be winning this again!
